Birthday Cake

Here are some pictures of the birthday cake that I made this week. I was pretty pleased with it. I had the hardest time covering the cake in fondant, but with Megan's help, we got it looking really good. I have come to realize that I really like "decorating"cakes, but the actual prep work that goes into getting a cake to the decorating point is a TON of work! I never thought it would be so hard and frustrating! It's a good thing that I have my sister to help me. Once the cakes were covered in fondant, I had a blast decorating it! I'm getting better! YAY!
