Gamer Heaven

Here are a few pictures of the desk that Dave has been working on for the past month. It turned out to be perfect! Dave is in gamer heaven!...I may not be a gamer, but I like it too. (: He did such a great job! Thanks to Dave's parents for helping us finish it!...and for the use of your garage for a month!

Three Tier Birthday Cake

Here are a few pictures of the birthday cake that Megan and I made for Mom and Carlie's birthday! It was our first try at making a three tier cake. Man, this cake took all day long to make! I have to admit, by the end, I was pretty sick of this cake. We have a few things to work on (like trying to get all three cakes level) (: In the end, it looked alright for a first try and I have to say, it was delicious!...gotta love Betty Crocker! (:

Birthdays!

This week has been a busy birthday week! Sunday was my Mom's birthday and we had a family party to celebrate. My sister Carlie's birthday is tomorrow and Dave's brother Mike has a birthday on Sunday! Happy Birthday to you all! Here are a few pictures from the family party we had.

Mother's Day Cake

Here is the Mother's Day Cake that Megan and I have been working on today. It kind of looks like a baby shower cake, but I feel good about how it turned out. This cake took forever. Much longer than expected (as always) (: I can't wait to eat it, lol. The top tier is French Vanilla cake with raspberry filling, and the bottom tier is French Vanilla Cake sandwiched between two chocolate cakes all with raspberry filling. MMM! Happy Mothers Day!
