Wilton Cake Course 1 Class 1

Today my sister Megan and I started taking a cake decorating class together. We have this dream of wanting to make wedding cakes as a business together. So, we decided that we better take some classes to improve our crazy cake decorating skills!! (: The class today was pretty basic. We were shown how to make buttercream icing and how to properly ice the cake. (Pretty intense stuff, I know). The course is four weeks long so we have three weeks left. Next week we are actually going to have our own cake to ice and decorate. I'm pretty excited. Once we get done with this course, I think we are going to take the Fondant and tiered cake course next.
