Valentines Day...just a FEW days late :)

So I know that Valentines Day was about two weeks ago, but I figured that a Valentines post is better late than never. We spent the Valentines weekend up in Bear Lake. The cabin has become our weekend residence. :) We've gone up there for the past three weekends in a row. Sadly, we won't be going this weekend. We thought that we should probably attend church ONCE this month! Our ward is going to think we've gone inactive! :)

Anyways, our Valentines weekend was awesome. Just a whole bunch of doing nothing....wonderful! We're not huge fans of valentines day, but we still celebrate in small ways. We usually give eachother a small gift. Dave got me a way cute purse! He has the best taste when it comes to purses. It is white and is perfect for spring! And I got Dave some more figurines to put on his desk. If you didn't know, Dave has this desk. He built it, and it is awesome. You can read more about it here and here. It has become the house of his "treasures" shall we say. Each holiday I'll usually give him a figurine to add to his collection. My man is a nerd. A proud nerd, but a nerd nonetheless. (I make fun of his love of figurines, but I secretly love the way they look on his desk. They are fun and different. Shhh, don't tell ;)). Here are some pictures of the figurines that he got.

A night elf hunter from WOW
Big Daddy and little sister from "Bioshock". I actually got the little sister for him for Valentines day last year. I found the Big Daddy to go with it this year. Perfect!

This is the card that I made him. If you don't play "Left 4 Dead", then you won't get it. He wanted me to post a picture of it. He was impressed. Yay!

Bear Lake

We spent this past weekend in Bear Lake and it was SO wonderful! Dave's parents recently got a cabin in Bear Lake, so we spent the weekend moving up furniture and stuff. After moving everything in, we did absolutely NOTHING! And IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! This was the most relaxing weekend I have had in a while. I was able to just sit and read, watch movies, anything. I didn't have to worry about homework, laundry, work, bills, etc. We are so blessed to be able to use this cabin. We will definitely be using this cabin in the weekends to come. Actually, we'll be going up again for Presidents Day weekend! I can't wait! Here are some pictures from the weekend.Dave and I sitting on the deck. We look kind of funny because the sun was in our eyes. :)

There was a TON of snow!

See where all of that fog is?? Yeah, that's the lake.
